Tristan Siegel, 17-years old, currently attends the Manhattan School of Music’s Precollege Division where he is taught by Elizabeth Faidley. He has performed in numerous New York area venues, including Lincoln Center’s Rose Studio, Zankel and Weil Recital Halls at Carnegie Hall and Rockefeller Center.
Tristan’s solo performances have won notice from the Associated Music Teachers’ League of New York, the Crescendo International Music Competition and the National League of Performing Arts. He also has performed in master classes taught by Arnold Steinhardt, Shirley Givens and Dmitri Berlinksy.
Tristan has been an enthusiastic member of a number of youth ensembles in New York and New Jersey and was concertmaster of the Manhattan School’s Precollege Symphony Orchestra and the Tenafly Middle School Orchestra. He has played with a number of chamber music ensembles since 2006, including a Middle School quartet that won notice from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. And in 2012, Tristan’s MSM Precollege Trio was a first prize winner at the American Protégé International Competition.
When not practicing or listening to music, Tristan loves to play soccer.
