In an effort to expand entrant participation in our annual competition, we are renaming it to “Young Concert Artists Competition.” In addition to traditional solo entries (on any instrument and in any genre, as long as orchestral accompaniment is necessary), we are encouraging multi-instrument entries to apply (i.e. Bach – Concerto for 2 violins).

With the start of this season, we are thrilled to welcome Anne Ku as our new concertmaster. Anne comes from the neighboring town (Princeton), bringing with her, experience, energy and leadership. We look forward to her partnership in building Sinfonietta Nova into a fine ensemble that brings exciting music-making to our audiences in central Jersey.

Shaping Sound is a brand new series of performance, for Grounds For Sculpture Members only! Sinfonietta Nova is invited to play at the East Gallery, presenting a musical counterpart to Jae Ko’s installation of Force of Nature, Shiro.
